About the Role
The Packaging & Labeling Associate will support a short-term production project at a
warehouse facility in Rochester, NY. The primary focus of this role is applying labels to
packaged goods accurately and efficiently, verifying compliance information, and preparing
labeled inventory for staging and distribution. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented assignment
ideal for candidates who take pride in precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
• Apply multiple labels to boxes and packaged goods accurately and consistently
• Verify label information for accuracy, including SKU, batch numbers, and compliance data
• Inspect boxes and packaging for defects prior to labeling
• Maintain productivity targets while meeting quality standards
• Organize labeled inventory for staging or distribution
• Keep work area clean, organized, and in compliance with facility standards
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures
• Report discrepancies, damaged product, or quality concerns to a supervisor
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must present a valid driver’s license for facility entry
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, packaging, labeling, or general labor experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with label placement and compliance information
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with consistency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work the full scheduled shift
• Team player with a professional attitude
