Post Harvest Associate

About This Role

Now Hiring: Post-Harvest Production Technician
Fall River, MA
Want a real shot at a career, not just a job? Our client is one of the country's fastest-growing, multi-state cannabis companies, and they're hiring in Fall River, MA. They believe in taking care of their people first — and they love promoting from within, so the person who starts on the production floor today could be running it a few years from now.
No cannabis experience? That's okay. If you're reliable, you like working with your hands, and you don't mind staying busy, they will teach you everything else.

What You'll Be Doing
This job is all about what happens after the plants are harvested. You'll be part of the team that turns raw plant material into finished product, ready to go out the door. On a normal day, you might:

• Trim, sort, and process plants after they're harvested
• Weigh product and write down numbers accurately — this part really matters
• Check product along the way to make sure it meets quality standards
• Clean and take care of equipment, and fix small problems when they come up
• Follow the company's step-by-step rules (called SOPs) so everything is done the same way, every time
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Get rid of plant waste the right way, following company rules
• Read the daily updates board at the start of your shift so you know what's going on
• Show up to team meetings and trainings so you keep learning
• Help your teammates out and pitch in wherever it's needed

This list isn't everything — things may come up that aren't on here, and that's normal in a growing company.

What You Need to Apply

• Must be 21 or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Okay with a background check (a job offer depends on passing it)
• Valid driver's license and a reliable way to get to work
• Willing to learn the rules around cannabis in this state — you don't need to know them yet
• Can work on your own without someone checking in on you every five minutes
• Shows up on time and does what you say you'll do
• Pays close attention to details
• Comfortable talking and writing clearly with your team
• Can learn new computer programs without too much trouble

What the Workplace Is Like
You'll be working in a cultivation and production facility. It moves fast, and you'll be doing hands-on work most of the day — not sitting at a desk. Expect to be around things like dirt, plant dust, strong smells, and changes in temperature and noise. Sometimes you'll need to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, so being flexible with your schedule helps.

What You Should Be Able to Do
This is a hands-on, on-your-feet job. If you have a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to do this job, just let them know — that's completely normal and okay to ask for.

• Stand and move around for most of your shift (about 80% of the time)
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on your own, and up to 100 lbs with help from a teammate or equipment
• Comfortable using a pallet jack or hand truck to move heavy things
• Able to climb a ladder (up to 12 feet) when needed
• Good enough vision to see things up close, far away, and to the side

Why People Like Working Here
This company is a multi-state operator, which means there's real room to grow — new locations, new roles, new opportunities. They genuinely care about their employees and make promoting from within a priority, so hard work here doesn't go unnoticed.
They also want their team to feel welcome, no matter who you are. Everyone is invited to apply, and every applicant gets a fair shot, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, religion, or background.

If this sounds like you, don't wait — apply today and start building a real career in an industry that's just getting started.
