Job Summary:
A Flex Position Associate is a vital point of contact and knowledge source for customers. They
are responsible for providing excellent customer service through reception duties, sales and
product education, and building a loyal customer base. They assist with inventory management
tasks, including merchandise tracking and restocking, process compliant transactions with
accurate cash handling, and maintain store cleanliness and organization. This adaptable role
includes assisting management with store activities and operations while ensuring all practices
comply with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as department manuals.
Ability to communicate politely and effectively with customers.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision under stressful conditions.
Valid City of Port Hueneme ID badge.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines established by the
California Department of Cannabis Control, the City of Port Hueneme, and the
Company.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Previous retail or customer service experience of one year (preferred).
In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
(preferred).
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk,
hear, and frequently use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee may often stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally
climb ladders.
Specific visual abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, and
the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
