The Role
In this role, you will work to efficiently trim cannabis plants while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for sale or processing. This person will be responsible for maintaining and following standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Trim flower from plants quickly and efficiently while ensuring quality
- Trim flower by hand and/or using trimming, sorting, and packaging equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Sit and stand for long periods while focusing on detail-oriented trimming and post-trim upkeep
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, plus usable by-products
- Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math
- Maintain open communication with management team and co-workers
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information, and policies
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or team lead
Qualifications
- Must perform tasks in a consistent manner
- Good attitude; works well in a team environment
- Must stay on target with daily production metrics
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs, at times above head
- Prior cannabis experience not required
Working Conditions
- Regular reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, and repetitive motions
- Must sit/stand for extended periods while maintaining focus
- Must lift, carry, and balance up to 50 lbs
- Daily exposure to allergens (cannabis, tree nuts, coconut oil)
Qualifications
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be compliant with all legal/company regulations
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be 21+
